Down here in Cuttack, we are located in Arunodaya Nagar. It is a fairly quiet area near the High Court Colony. Our office is on Madhusudhan Lane, which is a bit tucked away if you do not know the way. Standard Chartered Stci Capital Markets Ltd sounds like a big fancy place, but inside it is just us working on computers and talking to people. We handle financial things and market stuff. There are a lot of lawyers and court workers around here because of where we are located. The weather in Orissa can be quite tough, especially when it rains a lot and the narrow lanes get a bit muddy. We have a small team and we know each other well. Most days start with a quick chat about what is happening in the news. We are not trying to be anything special, just trying to help the folks who come in with their paperwork and money questions. The office is not very large. We have a few desks and some old chairs. People stop by quite often just to ask things. We try to give them straight answers without using too much confusing talk. It feels more like a neighborhood spot than some big corporate office. We just do our jobs and go home to our families in the evening. It is a simple life here in Cuttack and we like it that way. No one is in a huge rush.
