If you come down to Buxi Bazar in Cuttack, you will find us at 15-Cantonment Road. We are tucked away in the Postal Colony area, specifically in Block-C, at Qr No-12/Iib. It’s not your typical high-rise office building. Sphinax Chemical Industries Ltd operates out of this space, and it feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a corporate headquarters. The streets around here are often crowded, and you can hear the sounds of the city all day long. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with folders and the smell of the work we do. We’ve been here in this part of Odisha for a long time. The building shows its age a bit, but it serves us well for what we need to get done. We spend our mornings going through the inventory and the afternoons handling the logistics of the chemicals. There is a small rhythm to the day, starting with the first round of chai and ending when we lock up the gate in the evening. It’s a practical setup.
