Siddhratha Construction

We are over in Cuttack, right in the Malisahi area near Ranihat. It’s a crowded part of town, especially near Buxibazar, but it’s home for us. The office isn’t much to look at, just some desks and a lot of maps and dusty blueprints lying around. We’ve been working on projects around Orissa for a good bit now. Some days it’s just dealing with suppliers who are late or trying to find enough laborers when there’s a festival going on. You know how it is. We don't have a marketing guy or anyone to write fancy things for us. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others trying to keep things moving. The heat in Cuttack gets pretty bad in the summer, makes it hard to be out on the sites, but the work doesn't stop. We mostly handle local construction stuff. Sometimes things go perfectly, and sometimes there’s a hiccup with the materials, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't some big corporate chain from the city; we’re just local people who know how to build stuff. If you walk past our place, you'll probably hear the fan humming and see us arguing over a measurement or a bill. It’s loud, it’s busy, and it’s what we do every day. We just want to get the walls up and the roofs on before the monsoon hits us and makes the ground all soft.
