Shiva Cement Ltd, Rourkela has this spot over at Plot No 723 in Mahanadi Vihar. It is out in Cuttack, which is a different vibe than our other locations. The office isn't anything to brag about, just a functional space where we handle the books and talk to customers. Cuttack is old and crowded, but Mahanadi Vihar has its own rhythm. We spend a lot of time on the phone here. There is usually a pile of registers on the desk and someone drinking tea while they wait for a delivery confirmation. It is a lot of logistical stuff, honestly. Dealing with cement means you are always thinking about weight and transport costs. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone wearing suits. It is mostly just regular guys in half-sleeve shirts trying to make sure the inventory matches the sales. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there for a bit until it comes back on. That is life in Orissa for you. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years, with more houses coming up, which I guess is good for the cement trade in the long run. We do not do anything flashy. We just open up in the morning, do the entries, talk to the drivers, and close up when the sun goes down. It is a steady routine for our team.
