Shifa Hospital

We are located in Matha Sahi, Tulasipur. This Shifa Hospital is a local fixture in the neighborhood. It’s a place where things are done the old-fashioned way sometimes. We still use paper files that get tucked into big metal cabinets. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s busy on the inside. Most of our staff live right here in Tulasipur, so they don’t have far to travel. We have a small entrance where people park their bikes and scooters. Inside, the air smells a bit like floor cleaner and old paper. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s just us and the patients. The rooms are basic with the necessary equipment and not much else. We don’t think much about decor or making things look pretty. It’s more about making sure there’s a place for people to go when they aren't feeling well. On rainy days, the porch gets a bit muddy and we have to keep mopping the lobby. It’s just a normal part of running a hospital in this area. We have our routines and we stick to them. People know they can find us here in Matha Sahi whenever the doors are open. It’s a simple, honest setup that serves the local people every day of the week. There isn't much more to it than that, just a lot of hard work and staying open.
