Sasken

Sasken is tucked away in Bania Sahi over in Cuttack. We’re right by Buxi Bazar, near Rajkishore Sahoo’s place. It’s a busy little area and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Honestly, the building isn’t much to look at from the outside, but it serves us well enough. We have a few rooms set up with our desks and some old chairs we’ve had for years. Cuttack gets incredibly hot, so we usually have the ceiling fans whirring away all day long. It makes a bit of a hum, but you get used to it. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a lobby. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We mostly stick to ourselves and get the daily tasks done. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. The neighbors are good people and we’ve known most of them for a long time. We aren’t trying to be some big corporate entity with shiny floors and glass walls. We’re just a local business doing our thing. The street outside is always crowded with cycles and people going to the bazaar, so it can get noisy. We like the energy of the place though. It feels real. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner. It’s just a normal, everyday life for us here in Bania Sahi. We’ve got no big plans to move or change how we do things.
