Sahoo Variety Stall

Our stall is right in Alisha Bazar, near the Durga Mandap. It is a busy little corner, especially during festival times when everyone is out and about. We sell a bit of everything, which is why we call it a variety stall. You never really know what someone is going to walk in asking for, so we try to keep a good mix of items on the shelves. It’s a small space, and we have things stacked pretty high sometimes just to make it all fit. The area around Durga Mandap is always full of life, and we like being right in the middle of it. We aren't a big fancy shop with air conditioning; it’s just a regular stall where you can get your shopping done quickly. We spend a lot of time rearranging the stock and talking to the people who stop by for a minute. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by, but other days we can't keep up with the customers. It is just a simple life running a stall in the bazar. We don't have any big plans to expand, we just want to keep serving the local community here in Alisha Bazar as long as we can. Every day brings something a little different, and that keeps it interesting for us.
