Sabarmati Hospital

Sabarmati Hospital is situated right on NH.5 in the Bhanpur and Gopalpur area of Bhubaneswar. Being on the national highway means we get a lot of different people coming through. It’s a big road, so it’s easy to find us if you’re driving in from outside the city or just moving around Gopalpur. The hospital is a busy place. We handle a bit of everything here. It’s not one of those five-star hotels that happens to have doctors; it’s a working hospital with people in scrubs running around and the smell of antiseptic in the hallways. We’ve got the regular wards and the emergency area. Some nights are quiet, but on the highway, you never really know what’s going to happen. The staff here is used to the pace. We drink a lot of tea in the breakroom to keep going. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running—cleaning, fixing machines, and checking on patients around the clock. Bhubaneswar is a growing city, and this area around Bhanpur is no different. We just stay focused on the task at hand. There’s no fancy marketing or big promises. We just open the doors every morning and do what we can for the people who end up here. It’s a practical, local hospital for anyone who needs it along the NH.5. We just get on with the job as best as we can every day.
