The office is in a building called Mandakini Bhavan, which is easy enough to spot once you get into the neighborhood. We’ve been working from here for quite a while. It’s a busy part of Cuttack, especially near the Madhupatna police station. We usually have people coming and going all day long. Some are workers looking for their assignments, and others are just neighbors dropping in. The office itself is full of files and old blueprints. We don't have much in the way of fancy furniture. It's a working office, not a showroom. Sometimes the traffic in Aurobindo Nagar makes it a bit hard to get around, but we are used to it by now. We handle our projects from this desk and then head out to wherever the work is located. Orissa is where we’ve always been. We don’t see the need for a big corporate headquarters when this space in Mandakini Bhavan works just fine. It has a bit of a lived-in feel, which we like. We just focus on the daily tasks and make sure the bills are paid. It’s a local operation, and we like keeping it that way. In the afternoons, the sun hits the windows quite hard, so we keep the curtains drawn. We’ve got an old map of Cuttack on the wall that is starting to peel at the edges. We know where everything is without looking at it, but it’s nice to have. We just keep things moving and don't worry about much else.
