Pratap & Co

Pratap & Co has its home in Bishram Nagar, which is in the Ranihat area of Cuttack. It’s a decent neighborhood to be in, and we’ve been part of it for a good long while. Our office is just a regular room filled with the tools of our trade—lots of books, ledgers, and a couple of old computers that have seen better days. We don't really go for fancy decorations or anything like that because we’re too busy actually working. People come to us from all over Ranihat when they have things that need sorting out. We like the fact that we’re right in the middle of a residential area because it makes us feel more like part of the community. It’s not like those big cold offices you find in the industrial parks. Here, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood while you work. We spend a lot of time checking details and making sure everything is where it should be. It can be tedious, but it’s what we do. There’s always someone dropping by to drop off a letter or just to say hello while they’re out running errands. We keep things pretty informal. If you come by, you’ll probably find us surrounded by stacks of paper, just trying to get through the day’s tasks. It’s a simple life and we’re quite content with how things run here.
