Matamayi Travels

We have been running Matamayi Travels out of Metro Plaza here in Cuttack for a while now. The shop is right near the landmark area, so it's usually pretty busy outside with traffic and people walking by. Some days are quieter than others, especially when it rains hard and the streets get messy, but we are mostly here every day. It's not a very fancy office, just a place where we sit and handle travel bookings and talk to people about where they want to go. Usually, someone is sitting at the front desk with a tea or coffee, looking at schedules. We deal with trains, buses, and flight tickets mostly. People from around the neighborhood stop in to ask questions about prices or just to see what's available for the weekend. Metro Plaza itself is a known spot, so finding us isn't too hard if you know the Cuttack 753001 area. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones ring at the same time, which gets a bit chaotic, but that is just how things go. We try to keep things simple here without too much fuss. Most of our regulars are folks who live nearby or work in the other shops in the plaza. It’s a small operation, really. We just focus on getting the tickets printed and making sure the details are right so nobody gets stuck at the station. It’s a lot of paperwork and computer work, but we are used to it.
