Manjunadha Traders

Manjunadha Traders has been here on Main Road in Cuttack for a while now. The shop is right by the GPO, so it is a busy spot with people coming and going all day. Most mornings start early, usually around nine when we get the shutters up and start moving things around. It is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the stock we carry, but we know where everything is. We handle a lot of different items, mostly stuff for local builders or people fixing up their houses. It is a regular trading business, nothing fancy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with customers to worry about that. My nephew helps out on weekends, and a few guys work here full-time to help load the trucks. Cuttack is a humid place, so we keep the fans going pretty much all year. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. Sometimes the traffic on Main Road gets so loud you can’t hear the person standing right in front of you. We just keep at it, day in and day out. It is a living, and it keeps us occupied. If you are looking for the place, just head toward the GPO and you will see our sign eventually. It is tucked between a few other shops, but we have enough space to get the job done.
