Lic Of India

We are located on the second floor of Sangam Palace, which is in CDA Sector 6 in Cuttack. This LIC of India office is a busy place, especially in the mornings when the heat has not kicked in yet. Cuttack is an old city, and being in the Sangam Palace building means we see a lot of people coming in and out all day long. The office is full of metal cabinets and stacks of files that go back years. It is a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. My colleagues and I spend most of our time helping people fill out forms or explaining how the different policies work. It can be quite loud with the fans whirring and everyone talking at once. We get a lot of elderly folks coming in who prefer to do everything in person rather than online. We have been in this sector for quite a while, so the local tea stall guy knows exactly when to bring our afternoon chai. It is just a regular government-style office environment. We deal with the paperwork, handle the claims, and try to keep things moving. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to file or a signature to get. We are just part of the local community here in Odisha, doing the daily work that needs to be done.
