Kushabhadra Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Kushabhadra Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited, is based out of Niali in Cuttack. We use a space at Jubaraj Swain’s place, specifically at Plot No. 2978, number 09. It’s not a big corporate office, just a spot where we can all meet up and talk about the crops. Niali is a busy area, but our little corner is where the real work happens. We spend most of our mornings checking on things and the afternoons dealing with the paperwork side of being a company. It’s a lot of coordination between different people. Some of us have known each other for years. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just wanted a way to organize things better for everyone involved. The plot is easy enough to find if you know the landmarks around here. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we keep at it. We have some old chairs and a big table where we sit and go over the numbers. It’s honest work. Most people in the village know where Jubaraj lives, so they just drop by when they need to talk. We don’t have fixed hours really, we just work until the job is finished. It’s a local effort through and through. We appreciate the space we have here in Niali. It’s not much, but it’s ours and it serves the purpose for all the farmers in our company.
