Jindal Stainless Ltd

We are based over in Sector 6 of the CDA area in Cuttack, right at Plot No. C/1258. Our office is set up with K. Kanungo. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in, and we’ve been here for a while now. Being part of Jindal Stainless Ltd, we handle a lot of the local coordination for Orissa from this desk. It’s mostly just us keeping things moving and making sure the steel orders are documented correctly. It gets quite humid here in Cuttack, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We aren't a big shop with a storefront; it’s more of a place where we get the administrative side of the steel business done. We have a lot of papers stacked up and the phones don't seem to stop ringing some days. It can be a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we manage to get through the list. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to impress people. We just want to make sure the work is finished by the time we head home. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local streets well. It’s a straightforward operation here. We deal with the metal business and try to stay on top of the schedule. If you come by, you’ll likely see us busy with some ledger or on a call.
