We are located in the New Industrial Estate at Jagatpur, specifically at Plot No S3/17 in Phase III. Cuttack can get incredibly muggy, and being in an engineering shed doesn't make it cooler. At Orissa Engineering Udyog, there is always the sound of welding or metal being cut. It’s a loud environment. We’ve got some big machines that take up most of the floor space. The guys have been working here for years and they know exactly how to handle the heavy equipment. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There’s a lot of iron and steel lying around, so you have to watch your step. We don't have much of a front office, just a small room with a fan and some old ledgers. It’s a place where work gets done with sweat and a lot of manual effort. Most of our clients are local businesses that need parts fixed or new structures built. We drink a lot of water and tea to keep going through the shifts. The road outside is often dusty from all the construction nearby. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. People in the estate just know us because we’ve been here at this plot for a long time. It’s simple, heavy work, and we just keep the production line moving as best as we can.
