J. K. Sales Corporation

Our business, J. K. Sales Corporation, is located in Nuapatna, right on the Manglabag Station Road. It’s a very busy area because of the railway station being so close. You can always hear the trains and the noise of the rickshaws outside our door. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We have some counters and shelves where we keep our stock. It gets a bit dusty because of the main road, but we try our best to keep things tidy. We’ve been here for a good number of years and most of the locals know where to find us. We handle a variety of sales and trade tasks. Usually, the day is spent talking to customers who drop in or managing the deliveries that come and go. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business inside and out. We use old-fashioned ledgers for a lot of things because it’s what we are used to. It’s a practical way of working. The sun can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan running full blast to stay comfortable. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or just by walking past the station. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory is where it should be at the end of every day.
