You can find us located at Gandhi Chhak in the Kantighariya area of Jajpur district. We’ve been operating in this part of Orissa for a long time. The office is a simple place, right where the local activity happens. It’s often loud outside with the market and the traffic, but inside we just focus on the building projects we have going on. Construction is tough work, especially with the heat and the rain we get here, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big, polished firm from the city. We’re local people who hire local workers. Most of our days are spent out in the field, making sure the foundations are being dug correctly and the materials are arriving at the site. We handle things like houses and small shops. My father-in-law and I manage the day-to-day stuff. We keep our tools and a few bags of lime in the corner of the office. There’s always someone stopping by to ask about work or to talk about a new project. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just talk to people and show them what we’ve built nearby. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about how much time a job will take. We’re just part of the community here at Gandhi Chhak, trying to do good work that lasts for a long time.
