Hcil-Adhikarya-Arss(Jv)

Our base is over in Barimund, which you get to via Phulnakhara. It’s out in the Khurda district. The place is tied to Kalandi Charana Rout’s area, and it’s a bit of a trek if you aren't used to the local roads. Being a joint venture under the Hcil-Adhikarya-Arss name, we have a lot of different people involved in the day-to-day operations. It's not a city center office with elevators and AC everywhere. It’s more of a local spot where we can actually see what’s going on in the field. The roads can be a bit rough after a heavy rain, and sometimes we have to wait for the mud to dry before we get the heavy stuff moving again. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. We care more about making sure the jobs in Orissa get handled properly. We’ve got our mail going to the post office in Barimund, and that’s where you’ll find us most days. It’s a quiet enough area until we start getting the machines going. We’ve been working out of this location for a while now. It feels right for the kind of work we do. It’s honest work, and we don't feel the need to dress it up. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in boots or work clothes, just trying to get through the daily tasks. We focus on the task at hand and try not to get too bogged down.
