Living and working on Haripur Road in Cuttack means dealing with a lot of noise and people moving about. Our spot is near Osiya Tower, so it’s easy to tell people where we are when they get lost. Hari Kishan Chandak and the rest of the group have been in this building for a long time now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with plenty of desks and files that seem to grow every month. We spend most of our hours staring at columns of figures and making sure everything adds up correctly for the people who trust us with their business. It’s a bit of a trek to get through the traffic some mornings, especially when the weather is bad, but we are always here by nine. The furniture has seen better days, and the carpet is worn out in the spots where people walk the most. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks because the work itself is what matters. Clients come in, sit down on the plastic chairs, and we talk through whatever needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out while chatting about the local news. It’s a plain way to earn a living, but it works for us and the community around here. We just try to keep things moving forward one day at a time without any fuss.
