Dwijabar Sahoo & Co

Over here on B K Road, near Friends Colony, the vibe is a little different from the more crowded parts of Cuttack. Dwijabar Sahoo and the team have a small office tucked away where it stays relatively quiet during the middle of the day. We’ve got a lot of files stacked up on the shelves, some of them going back quite a few years. It’s a practical space where we focus on getting the books right and making sure nobody has any trouble with their paperwork. Most of the people who come in are locals who live just a few streets away. We know most of them by name, and we usually end up talking about more than just business. The office has a few old wooden desks and some chairs that might creak a bit when you sit down. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so you just walk in and find whoever is free. Sometimes we have to move stacks of folders just to find a place for someone to sit. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. The light coming through the front window is nice in the winter, though it gets a bit stuffy in the summer months. We just keep the fan going and keep working through the pile of tasks on our desks. It is not the most modern place, but it has everything we need to do our jobs properly.
