Driems, Tangi, Cuttack

Out here in Mahajan Pur, near Bahugram in the Cuttack district, life is a bit quieter than in the big cities. We are located at Driems, and this has been our base for a long time. Being in Orissa, specifically with the 754200 pin code, we feel very connected to the local area. The office is a practical space, not something you’d see in a magazine. We have our desks, our ledgers, and a lot of paperwork that seems to grow every single week. People come and go throughout the day, and there’s usually someone drinking tea in the corner by the window. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a set of rules on the wall. We just show up and do what needs to be done. The road leading up to us can get a bit muddy when it rains, but everyone around here is used to that. We know our neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby very well. It’s a friendly place to work. We don't use much jargon or complicated talk. If there’s a problem, we just sit down and talk it through until it’s fixed. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of work, and other times we leave a bit early if things are slow. It’s a flexible, honest way of doing things. We’re just local people working in our own corner of Cuttack, trying to keep things moving forward without making too much of a fuss. It’s a modest way to spend the day, but it works for us.
