Bimal Agarwala & Co has been around for quite a while in Nayasadak, Cuttack. Nayasadak is one of those old, busy parts of the city where space is tight and everyone is always moving. Our office is right in the thick of it. We are a firm of chartered accountants, but we do not act like we are better than anyone else. We just sit at our desks and work through the tax laws and the ledger entries. It is a lot of math and a lot of patience. The building is an older one, typical for this area of 753002. We do not have shiny elevators or glass partitions. It is just wooden desks and lots of paper. We know the other business owners on the street. It is the kind of place where you can pop out for a snack and talk to the neighbors for a minute. Our clients are mostly local traders from the market who need their accounts looked at. We do not use any fancy software that nobody understands. We just explain things in plain English so they know where they stand with the government. It is a no-nonsense type of office. We show up, we do the work, and we try to keep our clients out of trouble with their taxes. It is just a normal business like any other.
