Bhabani Pharmaceutical

Our place is at Plot No.1330/C in Sector-6, C.D.A., which is a pretty quiet part of Cuttack. If you know the area, it is mostly residential with some small offices tucked away here and there. Bhabani Pharmaceutical has been operating from this building for a long time. It is not a massive factory; it is more like a hub where we manage the supplies and all the paperwork. The office stays relatively cool even when the Orissa heat gets really bad outside because of the way the building was made. We spend a lot of time checking boxes and making sure all the labels are right. There is a lot of back and forth with the delivery vans that pull up in the driveway at all hours. We have a small garden in the front that one of the staff members looks after in their spare time when it is not too sunny. It is nothing fancy, just some marigolds and a few green plants. We are not big on formal meetings or long presentations. Most of our talking happens over a cup of tea in the back room or while we are walking between the desks in the morning. We know our regulars and we know the local transporters by name. It is a steady pace of work. We do our bits, we make sure the orders go out, and we try to keep things organized without making a big fuss about anything.
