The India Cements Ltd

We are located over in Ravindra Nagar, right at door number 5/525. Kadapa is a warm place, and our office reflects that. Riyaz Basha is usually around here making sure things stay on track. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down as much as we can when the supplies come in. It’s a simple setup we have here. There’s a lot of writing in ledgers and talking to people who come in from the surrounding areas needing materials for their homes. The dust settles on everything, which is just the reality of the cement trade. We have a small area where we sit and talk through the daily tasks. The streets around here are familiar, and we see the same faces every day. It’s not like those big corporate offices in the cities; it’s more grounded and basic, I guess. We keep the lights on and the doors open during the day, handling whatever comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. Dealing with cement means your clothes are rarely perfectly clean, but nobody here minds that much. We just make sure the tallies match up at the end of the shift. It’s a practical life, and we are just one part of the neighborhood here in Kadapa, doing what we need to do. It isn't always easy, but we make it work somehow.
