Sri Venkat Sai Earth Movers

Down here in Pulivendula, right near Vijay Homes, is where we keep Sri Venkat Sai Earth Movers running. It is a lot of sun and a lot of dirt most days. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits or polished meetings. Most of our talking happens standing next to a backhoe or sitting in the shade of the office wall. The yard is where the real action is. We spend a good chunk of our time making sure the machines are actually working and not just sitting there leaking fluid. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who are always around the equipment. It gets loud when the engines start up, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We just handle the earth moving work that needs doing around town. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little behind because we are out in the field too much, but we catch up eventually. It is a practical life. You wake up, check the machines, see who needs help with a hole or a foundation, and get to it. We don't use big words to describe it. It is just digging and moving stuff from one place to another. The office is small, just enough room for a couple of chairs and a fan that rattles. We’ve seen the town change a bit, but the dirt stays the same. The sun can be brutal in the afternoons.
