Our setup is located in the Ugu Ganga Project Colony over in Badvel. It is a specific kind of place to work, being right there where the project is actually happening. You can find us at spot number 3. Working in a project colony like this means we are pretty close to the daily action. It’s not like a big city office with glass walls; it’s more about being where the physical work is. Most of us here spend the day looking at site plans or talking to the crew outside. The area of Badvel has its own pace, and we’ve adjusted to it over time. People usually know us as the infrastructure folks. We’ve got a lot of equipment moving around and people in vests trying to make sense of the blueprints. It gets dusty, and the weather isn't always helpful, but the work needs doing. We handle the local side of things for Ivrcl. Living and working in the colony means the job never really feels far away. We stick to a routine because that’s how these big projects eventually get finished. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure the supplies show up when they are supposed to. No one here is really concerned with looking corporate. We just want to make sure the pipes or the roads or whatever we are building stay on track. It's a quiet enough area until the machinery starts up in the morning.
