Apollo Pharmacy

This Apollo Pharmacy is located right at Rims Hospital in Cuddapah. Because of the hospital, we stay pretty occupied. It’s a different kind of energy here compared to a regular street-side shop. People are often in a hurry or coming straight from an appointment, so they are usually looking for something specific. We have to stay on our toes. The shelves are packed with everything from basic first aid to more specialized stuff that the hospital doctors recommend. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, but we do our best. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets quite warm here in Cuddapah. We spend our days counting out tablets and checking labels over and over. It’s important work, even if it feels repetitive. We don’t have much time for small talk, but we try to be polite. The hospital surroundings mean there’s always noise—sirens, people talking, trolleys moving. You get used to it after a week or two. We are just a part of the daily routine for the patients and their families. No fancy slogans needed. We just open up, help the people who come to the counter, and try to make sure they leave with what they need. It’s a busy life at the Rims Hospital location, but it’s a good way to stay involved in the community.
