Adarsh Kadappa Stone

Our business is tucked away on an unnamed road in the Ravindra Nagar area. It can be a little tricky for people to find us the first time, but once you see the piles of black stone, you know you’re in the right place. We specialize in Kadappa stone, which is what we’ve been doing for quite a while now. The yard is basically just a big open space where we keep the slabs stacked up. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the stone. We spend most of our hours cutting, sorting, and loading. The machines make a lot of noise, and there is always dust flying around, but that is just part of the daily routine here. We don’t have any big sales pitches or a fancy lobby to sit in. Usually, customers just walk right into the yard and show us what they are looking for. We try to keep a good variety of thicknesses and sizes so builders can get what they need without waiting. It is a simple operation, run by a few people who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. Sometimes we have to move things around several times to find the right piece at the bottom of a stack. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we always know where everything is eventually. We just focus on getting the stone ready for whoever needs it in the neighborhood.
