Thiruviyaru Jaggery

You can find us at number 148 on Thanthai Periyar Road in Neyveli. This is where Thiruviyaru Jaggery is based. The road is usually quite active with people moving back and forth, and we are right in the middle of it. Making jaggery or dealing with it is a tradition in these parts, so we fit right in. Our building is a simple one, and we don't spend much money on making it look fancy. We would rather just focus on the work itself. Neyveli is a well-known place because of the big industries, but we are more on the local side of things. The smell of the town is a mix of dust and old buildings, and on some days, you can really feel the humidity. We have a small team here. Most of us have been around for a long time. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just take the jaggery, handle the orders, and make sure everything is in its place. Thanthai Periyar Road is a long stretch, and we’ve become a familiar face to the people who walk past our door every morning. Sometimes we just sit outside when things are slow. It’s not a complicated life. We don't use any high-tech systems that we don't really need. It’s just us, the jaggery, and the daily grind in Neyveli. We like the pace here, and we plan on staying put for a while. It’s home for us and it's what we know.
