We live and work on North Street in Chinna Kanur. It is a small village area in the Kattumannar Koil Taluk, down in the Cuddalore district. Most people around here are busy with their own work, and we are no different. Our space is part of G. Gopal Samy’s place. It is a simple house on a quiet street. We do not have any fancy office equipment. Usually, it is just a few chairs and a table that we have had for years. The 608701 pin code area is pretty laid back. You hear the cows and the local buses going past throughout the day. We do not have a receptionist or anyone answering phones with a script. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. We do our best to stay on top of our tasks, but we do not stress over it too much. It is about doing a good job with what we have. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to hear anything on the roof, so we just take a break and wait it out. It is a very grounded way of living. We are not trying to impress anyone with big words or a polished look. We are just here in Cuddalore, working through our days and keeping things as straightforward as possible. That is how it has always been for us since we started.
