Sriraja International

Our place is over in Perumal Nagar, specifically at number 51 in Koothapakkam. Sriraja International is what we call it, but mostly it is just a quiet office where we manage our trade and paperwork. We deal with various goods that move in and out of the area. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice because we can actually hear ourselves think. The office is tucked into the residential side of things, so it feels more like a home than a big business. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a kettle that is always running for tea. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking shipments and making sure the documentation is correct for our international dealings. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is steady. We handle a lot of phone calls from suppliers and logistics people. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to scramble, but that’s just how the trading business goes. We like the neighborhood here in Koothapakkam; it’s friendly and everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the sun goes down. There’s always another form to fill out or a different container to track. We don't make a big deal out of it, just keep the wheels turning as best as we can every single day.
