Working out here at Sri Ragavendra Chemicals means we are right in the heart of the Sipcot area. Our spot is in Prs Nagar, over in Panchiyankuppam. If you know this part of the world, you know it’s mostly about the industries and the big trucks moving in and out all day long. It can get pretty dusty on the roads, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We spend a lot of our time in the office, but we are always keeping an eye on what’s happening outside. The heat can be a bit much during the middle of the day, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. Our building is simple and honest. We don't have any flashy decorations or expensive furniture. It’s just a place to get the work finished and keep things moving. We’ve got a lot of neighbors who are doing the same kind of stuff, so there’s a feeling of everyone just putting in their time. Sometimes we stand outside for a bit just to see the sun go down over the roofs of the other buildings. It’s not a quiet place, but it has its own kind of rhythm that we’ve grown to like. We just stay focused on our tasks and try to keep everything running smooth at our Panchiyankuppam location. It’s a long day, but it’s good work.
