Our office is at number 118, up on the first floor on Subraya Chetty Street. It’s right in the Tirupapuliyur area. Sree Akshayam India Nidhi Limited is the name we have on the door. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us active. We spend most of our time dealing with the nidhi accounts. It’s a lot of paperwork, but we’ve got a system that works. We aren't big on flashy things. The office has what we need—desks, chairs, and a few fans to keep the air moving. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in to deposit their savings or ask about a small loan. We try to keep the atmosphere friendly and low-key. It’s just how we like to work. The street outside can get a bit congested, but it’s a lively part of town to be in. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. Most people know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t use any complicated jargon when we talk to folks. We just explain things clearly and get the forms filled out. It’s a steady job and we take pride in getting the details right every single time. Usually, we finish up and head home once the books are closed for the day. There is always work to be done with the ledgers, but we manage just fine.
