Rame Motors

If you take a walk down Sankaran Street, you will find us at 74/A. Rame Motors is a small shop where we handle whatever vehicles or engines happen to come through the gate that day. It isn't one of those massive dealerships with glass walls and shiny floors. It is more the kind of place where there is usually grease on someone’s hands and a few parts sitting around waiting to be cleaned. We have been at this location for a long time. The street itself isn't very wide, so it can be a bit difficult when we have a few larger trucks in for repairs at the same time. We don't spend any time worrying about what the front office looks like. As long as the tools are where they are supposed to be and the lift is working, we are happy enough. Most of our day is spent under a hood or trying to figure out why a motor is making a sound it shouldn't be. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until we pull the shutters down. Sometimes we stay late if a specific job is being more difficult than we thought it would be. We know most of the people who live nearby on Sankaran Street. They stop by to say hello while we are working. It makes the day feel shorter. We don't really do ads or anything.
