Oxford English School

Oxford English School is situated on the Cuddalore Byepass in Keelamoongiladi, near Chidambaram. It’s a spot where the road is wide and the traffic moves fast, but once you step inside our gates, things slow down a bit. The school is a basic setup. We have the classrooms, a small area for the staff, and a place for the kids to run around during the lunch hour. It’s not a luxury institution. It’s a school built for the people living in this part of Chidambaram. The teachers are regular folks who show up every day to help the kids with their English and their sums. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit muddy, but we just put down some sand and keep going. The students come in their uniforms, some looking very neat and others with their shirts untucked by noon. It’s just how it is. We don’t have a lot of glossy posters or high-tech labs. We have books, blackboards, and teachers who care about whether the students are actually learning. The office is a small room where the records are kept in big physical files. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We just try to provide a steady place for the children to be every day. There’s no big marketing talk here. We just open the doors, ring the bell, and start the lessons. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school in this neighborhood.
