Nathamani Hardwares

Nathamani Hardwares has been at 56, Cuddalore Main Road for a good while now. Thirupapuliyur is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our door. To be honest, the shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit so much stuff inside. You have to watch your step because there might be a box of pipe fittings or some paint cans sitting on the floor. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for a specific size of bolt, we can usually find it even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. The Cuddalore Main Road can get really loud with the buses honking, but we are used to it by now. We start early in the morning, sweeping the front and getting things ready for whoever walks in first. It could be a plumber looking for parts or just a neighbor who needs a new lock for their gate. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. People just know us because we have been in this spot for years. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part, but the ceiling fan does what it can. It is just a normal life running a hardware business. We don't have a lot of free time, but we like seeing the regulars and hearing about their construction work.
