Makkal Vaazhkai Vettri Maiyam Private Limited is located at Thittakudi No:1 in Ak Ambethkar Nagar. Even though the name sounds a bit formal because it’s a private limited company, we are really just a local operation. We focus on the everyday lives of the people here in Thittakudi. Life can be pretty tough in Ambethkar Nagar, and we try to find ways to make things a bit easier for the families. We might help someone figure out how to get a small loan or help a young person find a job. Our office is small and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. We don't have fancy computers, just one old laptop that everyone shares. We don't spend money on advertising because everyone in the area already knows where we are. We sit out on the porch a lot because it’s cooler than being inside. People just drop by when they have a problem or just want to chat. We don't have a set of rules for who we help. If someone comes to the door, we listen. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We have our fair share of arguments and things get disorganized sometimes, but we always manage to get through the day. We are just part of the community here, trying to make a small difference where we can without any grand speeches or polished presentations.
