Our place is situated at No 22, Bharathi Park 7th Cross in Saibaba Colony. It’s a nice part of Coimbatore, a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs which suits an Ayurvedic hospital well. You can usually smell the oils and the different herbs the moment you walk through the gate. We’ve got the park nearby, so there is some greenery around which helps with the general feel of the place. It isn't a brand new glass building; it feels more like a home that has been adapted for medical use over time. We have rooms for the treatments and a small area where people wait their turn. Saibaba Colony has changed a lot, with more shops popping up, but our little corner on 7th Cross stays relatively calm. The staff here knows how to handle the traditional preparations. We spend time cleaning the brass vessels and making sure the treatment tables are ready. It’s a lot of physical work, especially with the massages and the oil treatments. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or someone told them about us. We sit out in the small courtyard during our breaks. The building has its quirks, like a door that sticks a bit in the rain, but it’s a good place to work. We just focus on the patients and the herbs every day. It’s a steady pace here, and we like the community feel of the street.
