Jemi Works

Our workshop, Jemi Works, is located at 231 Panruti Road in Narayanapuram, which is part of Melpattambakam. It is a quiet enough area most days. Mechanical repairs and some fabrication work are what we focus on here. The few lathes and welding equipment we have stay pretty busy. This is a family-run kind of place, even if we have some extra help from the local village. Because there weren't many places nearby that could handle specific metal work, we started this shop. Over time, things just grew a bit. The building is older and the roof leaks a little when the rain gets heavy, but that doesn't stop the work. Money isn't spent on ads or big signs. Most people just know where we are by now. If you walk in and tell us what you need fixed, we give you a price. Being the fastest isn't always our goal because we take time to make sure the weld is strong and the part fits right. It’s hard to find good apprentices these days, but the current crew manages fine. Melpattambakam is home for us and we like it. There are no big plans to expand or move. Keeping the machines running and doing right by the folks who bring their work to us is enough. Polished mission statements aren't our thing; we just fix things.
