Ghani & Sons

Ghani & Sons is a family-run place located on Sultan Street in Mururbad, which is part of the Villupuram district. We’ve been around for quite a while, and the business has been passed down through the family. Our shop is on a traditional street where everyone knows their neighbors. We deal in various goods, mostly things that the local people in the village and surrounding areas need. The building is older, with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler when the sun is really hot outside. We don't have fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us because they’ve lived here their whole lives or heard about us from a friend. We spend our days sitting in the front of the shop, waiting for customers and chatting with whoever stops by. It’s a slow-paced kind of life compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We keep our books by hand and know our inventory by heart. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for new stock to arrive from the bigger towns, but our customers are patient. We treat everyone who walks through the door with the same respect, whether they’re buying something small or a larger order. It’s just how we were taught to do things. Sultan Street is our home, and we take pride in being a small part of the community here in Villupuram. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
