Our office is at 94 A in the Railway Quarters in Virudhachalam. It’s a quiet spot tucked away near the train tracks. We do all our engineering and infrastructure work from this location. Being in the railway quarters means we hear the trains passing by throughout the day and night. The office itself is small and functional, with just enough room for our files and a few desks. It’s where we coordinate with the workers and figure out the materials we need for the next construction project. We have been part of this community in Tamil Nadu for quite a while now. The quarters are simple and were never meant to be a fancy business center. We use the space as a home base for all our local jobs. Virudhachalam is a busy town once you get toward the center, but our spot is a bit more relaxed. We spend most of our time doing the heavy lifting out on the actual sites and then we come back here to finish up the logs and planning. We don't have a complicated corporate hierarchy or anything. It’s just a few of us making sure that the buildings and roads are constructed the right way. The heat here can be intense, so we usually start our work very early to avoid the afternoon sun. It is a very honest and straightforward way to earn a living.
