Emta

Down at 614 Chennai Road in L. N. Puram, that’s where you’ll find the Emta office. It’s right on the main road, so we get to see all the traffic going by all day long. It’s a simple setup. We have a few rooms where we manage everything and a bit of space in the back for storage. L. N. Puram is a place where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. We’ve been part of this community for quite a bit. Our work involves a lot of back-and-forth with clients and looking over technical specs. It isn’t always the most exciting stuff, but it’s what we do. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. Usually, we are just in our shirtsleeves trying to get through the pile of work on the desk. The building itself is nothing special, just a solid place to work out of. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when the rain is really heavy, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We like the independence of running our own show here. It’s about being reliable and showing up every morning. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes. It’s a real business run by real people who care about their trade.
