Emerald Engineering, Chennai

Although our name says Emerald Engineering, Chennai, we are actually located out in the Cuddalore District. Specifically, we are in Palayam. It’s a bit of a drive, but it’s where we have our space. Being in Tamil Nadu, you get used to the heat and the pace of things. Our workshop is in a spot that isn't too crowded, which is nice for a change. We have our tools and our equipment all set up there. Most of the guys working here are locals from the district. We don't really have a big fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back getting our hands dirty. Engineering is one of those things where you have to be practical. You can't just talk about it; you have to build it. We’ve had some long days where things didn't go right, but we stayed until they did. That’s just how we were taught to work. We don't put on any acts for anyone. What you see is what you get. The address 607 108 is home for our business. We’ve been here for a bit and we plan to stay. It’s a quiet life compared to the city, but the work keeps us plenty busy. We just focus on the projects and let the rest take care of itself. It’s not always easy, but it is what we do.
