Our trading office is in Cuddalore, specifically in the K.N.Pettai area. We are located at number 34 on Thiruvandhipuram road. Cuddalore is a bit different from the big cities like Chennai; things move a little slower here, and we like that. We do a variety of trading, mostly focusing on local goods and materials that people in this district need. The office is a modest setup. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy lobby. People who need us usually just know where we are or hear about us from someone else. We spend our mornings checking prices and talking to our regular customers. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to see suppliers or check on stock. The weather here can be quite humid, especially being so close to the coast. We’ve had this spot for a while and it feels like a part of the neighborhood. Trading is basically about knowing people and being fair with them. We don’t use any complicated systems, just some ledgers and a computer to keep track of what comes in and goes out. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
