Arunthathi Tyres

We are set up at Arunthathi Tyres on the Chennai Main Road in Vadalur. Our address is No. 33 34 35 Ragavendra City. It’s a big space because tires take up a lot of room, and we have them stacked pretty high in every corner. Being on the main road means we see a lot of travelers passing through, along with the locals from around Vadalur. The sun can be quite hot out here, and the black rubber of the tires doesn't help much with the temperature in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time lifting heavy things and moving stock around. It is hard work, and by the end of the day, our backs usually feel it. The shop is right on the edge of the road, so the sound of engines is something we hear from morning until night. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around and chat while we get things sorted. It’s a practical place for practical people. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know the rhythm of the traffic out front. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the cars go by, but most days keep us on our feet until it’s time to close up and head home for some rest. It is a simple life but it keeps us moving.
