Apploo Cdental Clinic

The clinic is right on the Main Road here in Murartadu, Kiallakuriaki. We have the sign out front, though some people notice the name is spelled a bit different than you might expect. It’s a dental place, so we have the big reclining chairs and all the tools laid out on trays. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it sparkling clean. There’s a small waiting area near the door with a couple of plastic chairs for people. It gets quite hot in the afternoon when the sun hits the front of the building directly. We have a fan that oscillates to keep the air moving so it's not too stuffy. Most of the time, we are busy with cleaning teeth or filling cavities. You can hear the sound of the drill from the street sometimes when it's quiet outside. We have a little sink where patients can rinse. The cabinets are full of gauze and little mirrors and dental stuff. It’s a local spot, so we know many of the families who live on the main road. Sometimes the kids are scared to come in, so we have to talk to them for a while before we start. It’s not a giant clinic, just a couple of rooms. We handle the appointments as they come in. The traffic outside is pretty constant, especially with the buses going through Kiallakuriaki. We just stay focused on the work at hand every single day.
