You can find us at Number 3 on Mariamman Koil Street in Pillarithotti. It’s a part of Thiruvanthipuram that feels quite traditional. Being so close to the temple, we get to hear the bells every day. Our building is a simple one where we handle all our paint business. It’s not a shiny showroom. The floors have plenty of paint marks from over the years. We think it adds character. We mostly work with the locals and some contractors who know we’ve been here a while. The street is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when a truck comes to deliver supplies. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a handful of us working together. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the work slow down, but we push through. We've got fans going in every corner. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We mix the paints right here in the back. It can get a bit loud when the mixers are running. We just like doing a good job and seeing the final colors come out right.
