B.E. Solar Point

We are located right on Ratha Beedhi in Kushalnagar. If you walk down the street near the temple area, you will see our sign. B.E. Solar Point is up on the first floor, so you have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us. Kushalnagar is a beautiful place, especially when the weather is clear, and that is when we do our best work. We sell solar lights and small water heaters mostly. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack the boxes pretty high against the walls. Sometimes it feels like we are living in a warehouse. My brother and I run the place. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just talk to the people who come by after they finish their shopping on the main street. The sun in the Coorg region is pretty strong, so solar makes a lot of sense for the houses around here. We spend our weekends mostly doing installations or fixing things that got knocked over by the wind. It’s a lot of climbing ladders and carrying heavy stuff. We’ve been here for a few years now and most of the locals know us. We aren't trying to become a huge company. We just want to keep the shop running and help the neighbors get some good light at night. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our feet and we enjoy the daily interactions.
