Torsha Mohana Micro Service Foundation

The Torsha Mohana Micro Service Foundation is based way up in Cooch Behar. If you head to West Khagrabari, specifically at Tala More in Village Tal, you will find us. We operate out of a space care of Helen Pandit. It’s a very rural setting, which is exactly where we belong. Being near the Torsha river influences a lot of the life here, and we wanted our foundation to reflect that local connection. We are a micro service foundation, but that just means we help with small, everyday things that make a difference to the villagers. We don’t have a big corporate budget or fancy computers. We mostly work with what we have in the village. The air is a bit cleaner out here than in the cities, and things move at a slower pace. People in Cooch Behar are hardworking and practical, so we try to be the same. We handle micro-level support, maybe helping someone with a small loan or some paperwork they don’t understand. It is very personal work. You sit down with people, have a tea, and talk about their problems. Helen Pandit’s place is a familiar spot for many. We are just trying to be a reliable resource for the people in West Khagrabari. It’s not about growth or profit; it’s just about making sure our neighbors have someone to turn to in the village when things get difficult.
